From Garden to Table

9.30am – 3.30pm
Join Lara Scouller for a bountiful week of allotment and garden inspired art! We will begin by working directly from a wide variety of flowers & plants in Cockenzie House’s beautiful allotments and gardens in addition to garden tools and other agricultural features.
We will explore using soft pastel and charcoal to create lively colourful compositions in and around the garden. Then, returning to the studio, students will be encouraged to bring their favourite gardening tool or object to draw inside to explore garden themed still life subjects.
